7/26/06 - What is my PROBLEM today!? I kid you not, I keep typing "05" for the year! Well, hey, I experienced a real timewarp this morning, so maybe it threw me off. ;) Anyhoo, here's the big news:

Oh, quit'chyer mumblin'. This is a good thing. For me, anyway. Long story short, here's what happened. The site went down back around the first of the year, thanks to my then-webhost being stupid, never acknowledging my payment, and locking the domain. So, I wrote them several nasty-grams, never heard from them, and found a new host. The next obstacle - all of my files were on my locked-in-storage computer. I FINALLY got the computer up and running about 3 weeks ago, since I was finally able to move into my own place. Then I couldn't find my jump drive, which was slightly necessary since I don't yet have internet access at home (yes, still - I'm writing this at work). I found THAT over this past weekend, went nuts copying all of my TSS files over to it, and have had an uploading spree at work, while I work. :) And that's really all there is to know!

So, enjoy the site - I'm looking to get back into finishing it, and then maybe, once again, I can start to enjoy my characters... and writing about them. ;)

8/12/05 - Been overhauling the links page, got episodes 8, 9 and 10 reformatted, and tweaked this main page menu (to the left) a little bit. While doing all of this, it occurred to me what I'm aiming for, now that I'm several years older since this whole story/site began (wow - been online for 8 years, three of which have seen this site basically die). I'm aiming to make this site as static as possible. That's not to say that I want to abandon it, but one of the HUGE reasons I lost interest in it was because it was just too much work. My HTML skills are very limited - although they work for making this place look okay. And I really don't want to learn new coding right now. I have other interests, other time-drains and other things I want to be doing. So, here's what's up:

• The "Specials" page is up and coming. As far as I know, only two stories will be there. But there's one other that I'm considering.
• Once completed, the chapters are reformatted for good.
• I no longer care about awards, webrings, counter stats, or guestbooks. These things are gone.
• Any and all sister sites I had are either gone, or think this site is dead. And it's not that big a deal anyway. Chances are, they're on the links page.
• The strongest, most active links, the links of people I know personally, or my favorite fanfics are all that are left in the "Links" section. There are also a few other links to pages that are either informative, or are directories.

And there you have it.

3:12 a.m. - Episodes are all online again. Silly me didn't realize that they were backed up on the domain, and I just hadn't changed the links on the "Episodes" page to reflect that. I rock. But, digging around for them actually inspired me to re-format them a little, and add some decent "back" and "next" buttons. So, episodes 1-7 are all reformatted, and 8-13 will be done... soon. Tomorrow? We'll see. But definitely soon.

8/11/05 - Wow. Something to actually announce. I've finally moved the entire image gallery over to my domain. It was a far bigger project than I thought it would be. ("Oh, it'll only be an hour or two - no biggie." I'm writing this 5 hours after that brilliant thought.) The "Images" front page is dry and undecorated at the moment, but it works, as do all of the images and thumbnails. I can FINALLY kiss Tripod goodbye FOREVER! WOOHOO!! No more pop-up ads!

So, yeah, I don't actually know if anyone cares about or reads this site anymore, but there it is. At least I'm getting everything re-consolidated into one place. That's one of the reasons I bought the domain... two... years ago... **cough** >.<

P.S. I just realized that, when attempting to clean up my old web stuff on my Cox account, I deleted the TSS episodes. Apparently, I thought they were already on the domain. Go me. **twitch** Never fear (the one or two of you that might stumble across this page in the next day or so). I have these backed up and will get them onto the domain.
